Student Grants

Educational Opportunity Program

COVID-19 UPDATE
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, changes have been made to our Educational Opportunity Program for the health and safety of students. Please review these changes before applying for a grant.
We understand that the most formative and memorable, hands-on education happens outside of the classroom. Opportunities like these are important for personal, professional, and educational development. Though our grants, we aim to help students across the state of Michigan experience education.

Get Help Paying For Your Next Educational Opportunity!

The Michigan Youth Education Fund awards grants to individual students. Educational Opportunity grants are for the sole purpose of reducing costs and barriers for students attending educational events and opportunities.
  • Are you a high school student?
  • Do you need assistance paying for an extracurricular activity or conference?
  • Are you involved in Model UN, DECA, HOSA, Debate, or a similar organization?
If you answered "yes" to these questions, we can help. You can apply for an Educational Opportunity Student Grant to help reduce the cost burden you and your family has to pay.
