Grant Application FAQs

How should I distribute grant funding to students?
The goal of the educational opportunity grant program is to reduce the overall cost burden on students attending. educational events and opportunities. Once you receive a favorable grant determination, your funding will be distributed directly to the event or in cases where that is not possible, to your educational institution. The two most common methods of distributing grant funds. are as follows.
  1. Apply the total award amount toward the total cost of the trip and divide the remaining costs evenly among students.
  2. Use the total award amount to cover the costs of students trips whom were previously unable to attend due to the financial burden.
What are the post-event reporting REQUIREMENTS
Once your educational event has concluded, you will be sent a questionnaire to fill out regarding the impact of the educational opportunity grant. This allows us to measure our organizations impact and better serve our community. Grant funding is contingent upon the completion of this survey.
